Whenever they release the new OS X installer, it will be for the most current API's thus why it will require OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) and 10.11 (El Capitan).ĭoes that mean 10.9 and earlier versions won't be supported or it is an issue that they are fixing? The Carbon API was fully depreciated as of OS X 10.8 back in 2012.
